Girton Town Charity
Girton Town Charity is an almshouse charity and is registered with the Charity Commission. There are currently 28 almshouses in Girton to benefit residents and those with a close association. In addition GTC exists to help Girton residents, both as individuals and collectively through village societies and activities.
Girton Town Charity (GTC) exists to enable Girton residents to lead as full a life as possible in the comfort and safety of their own homes.
GTC has 28 almshouses and appointments are made to Village residents or those with a close association to Girton. One of the main ways GTC can offer help is in the form of Personal Grants to Village residents – whether it's providing a disabled shower, helping fund some training for a career change in later life or buying equipment for a family member with special needs.

William Collyn Community Centre
The William Collyn Community Centre is a purpose-designed facility in the heart of Girton and designed to provide an attractive and flexible space for a wide range of uses, and sizes of groups.
The spacious Gordon Hall is suitable up to 136 theatre style or up to 40 for an exercise class. Includes WiFi; Blackout Blinds; Data Projectors; Sound System; Induction Hearing Loop.
The Screen Meeting Room is suitable for small meetings of up to six people or one-to-one therapy sessions.
